We lost track of each other for more than 35 years, but recently have had several reunions.
I may not have realized it at the time, but it’s now very clear to me just how much they were influencing and shaping my life — I will forever be grateful to them. I always jokingly refer to that time as "my misspent youth.” Nothing could be further from the truth.
